We had a very busy day today. Here's all that we did.
Hiking around Clarion Woods Pond for playgroup.
It was only 1/2 mile so it was perfect for the little kids.
Lauree, Leah, and Annie with all the kiddos.
Wyatt loved throwing the rocks into the water with the kids.
It reminded me of the mountains in Utah in parts...even though this was a very flat "hike".
We had a really good time!
After we headed to our favorite place
Orange Leaf
for some frozen yogurt.
He loves this place just as much as me.
The spoons are my fav! (You know what I'm talking about if you've ever eaten there before.)
Later that night:
We had a Busy Bag Swap at my friend Alisons house.

It turned out so good! We all made a little activity for a 1-5 yr old age child. We made 10 of the same thing, put it in a gallon zip lock bag and we all swapped what we had. So at the end of the night we each had 10 different activities! (We had 10 in the group, a few people couldn't make it to the party that's why there aren't 10 people there, just in case you were confused.) We all got together and described what the kids are supposed to do with each activity and the skills they learn by doing it. Then of course we had great food too.
Alison was the one who put it all together. We'd get approval from her first to make sure no one else was making the same activity. It was such a great idea! I want to do another one again soon! Thanks Alison!

Love the busy bad idea! I wonder if I could do something like that for my kids....even though they're a bit older. :)
