Spirit Lake 2012!

August 18-25, 2012
We had our family reunion at Spirit Lake, Idaho with all the family together!
We had a crazy tightly packed car ride up.  All 8 of us packed into my parents Suburban.  I got the front seat most the time, because I'm so nauseous with my pregnancy.  It was tightly packed in the back.  It was a bit comical to see my mom, dad, and Nate with their long legs all crammed in the back.  Thanks everyone for sacrificing for me.  I really appreciated it!
Wyatt loved it!  It was fun being together with everyone!
My brother Eric's wife Jenna (this was her fist time at Spirit Lake), my cousin Gretchen came out to visit us, Me, and my little sister Jenn.

Wyatt's so excited for the boat ride!  He'd been looking forward to it for a long time.  We LOVE boating!
My cousin Gretchen's girls Brooklyn and Bailey eating dinner with Wyatt.
Wyatt was so glad to have some kids to play with :) They were so silly together.
 Gretchen, Me, and Lexi
Out on the beach with Wyatt.  He loved playing in the sand!
 He's lovin' life!
It's pure heaven here!
 My boys :)
My brother Eric and Jenna taking Wyatt out for a paddle boat ride.
Scott and Jenn coming in from canoeing.
They brought back some lillie pad flowers.
My grandpa taking Scott and Wyatt out on his little fishing boat.

Dockside!
This is one of my favorite traditions.  We share our huge ice cream then walk around dockside.
This was Wyatt's first time...he was loving it!
We couldn't even finish ours, it was way too much!
My brother Nate, Jenna and my brother Eric.
 Dad, Mom, Jenn, and Scott.
 The pretty flowers out front.
Going for our walk along the docks.  Wyatt holding hands with Grandma and Nate.
The group shot (minus my mom who's taking the picture).
 It's so pretty.
We love looking at all the crazy expensive boats.
 So cute!

Back at Spirit Lake
We went for a canoe ride with Wyatt.  He loved helping us paddle.
Jenn, mom, and Jenna.  This was Jenna's first time tubing.  She was laughing and screaming so it made my mom have a laughing attack.  It was so funny!
The guys going for a rough ride.  Nate and Scott.
 Eric and Zach
Wyatt loves boating...he never wanted to miss a trip.  If the boat started to leave he'd yell, "wait for me!"
Zach showing us his water skiing skills.
It's so fun to be with Nate.  We sure missed him on his mission.
We just laugh all the time...it's so great :)
 Aunt Jenn Jenn with Wyatt.
Nate going off the rope swing on the island.
Zach's turn.  He did an awesome flip.
He's so good on the boat...if only we could boat all day every day :)
Nate surfing on the "lay out" board.
Zach's up!
 So sweet!
 Roasting marshmallows.
HaHa...Scott found this shirt hanging up in his closet.  NICE!
We did a little photo shoot at the cabin and this frog really helped out.  Thanks little froggy for helping Wyatt not get bored.  ;)
We had a lot of bad windy weather which was perfect for the Hobi Cat!
Scott, Nate and Zach.  They started to get pretty good at it! They went out about every day. They took Jenn and I the last day.  It was sooooo cold!  But fun!
My cousin Lexi came out to visit us.  This is her son Talon.
 They were such good buds!
Shannon my cousin came out one day, me, Jenn, and Lexi. (And her daughter Sydney).
We took Wyatt out for a tube ride.  He LOVED it!  He was laughing and smiling the whole time.  He kept saying "go faster!"  We got going pretty fast!  He wanted to go on bumps too.  It was so much fun!
 We played badminton.
 Wyatt wanted to play too.
We had a water balloon toss after.  That was so much fun!
Eric and Jenna.  My mom had planned games every night.  We played so many fun games.  This was my favorite.  You rolled the dice.  When you get doubles you take this big pack of candy bars that's been wrapped in clear packing tape and try to unroll it and get a piece out.  Once the next person rolls doubles they steal it from you.
It's a stressful race!  Come on go go go!!!!
Then we had this ice cube game.  We had to melt the ice cube using only our hands.  We'd pass it from person to person.  Girls and against guys...They won :(
We celebrated my birthday, even though it wasn't for a another couple weeks.
 31 candles!  Crazy!
It was such a fun last night with everyone together.
We met up with my friend Melanie who is from Cour D' Alene.  I always call her to see if she is in town.  (She lives in Georgia now).  So I was so happy and surprised to see that she was!  We ate breakfast at a little European breakfast place then she dropped us off at the airport.  It was so fun to catch up.  We've been friends for 12 years, and hadn't seen each other for a few years.  We were friends at BYU-Idaho right out of high school.  I wish we lived closer.
 Wyatt and Zach enjoying breakfast.
 Here we go...back to Kansas!
We sure had a fun time seeing all our families during our 2 week trip!
And Wyatt did really good on the plane too.  Good job Wyatt!
