I never realized what a big deal Easter is around here! We went to so many Easter Egg Hunts it was crazy!
First off, our ward primary Easter Egg Hunt got cancelled because of the rain, then the bishopric decided not to reschedule. So we ended up handing out our 1,000 stuffed eggs to the kids at church. LAME! Maybe it wont rain next year, and we can have the church available to us in case. Everyone was so bummed! Anyway....
Our first stop was the office where we live. Sweet!
Wyatt's loving it!
Next stop another huge park, out in the ghetto neighborhoods.
That was a bad idea.
We got there 1 minute late. The gun went off when we were walking there. By the time we were there the eggs were all gone. They start right on time here!
A nice man gave Wyatt a few eggs. So nice!
Wyatt got to see another Easter Bunny too!
And another, at our next stop at Governors Mansion! So many Easter Bunnies, it's CRAZY!
And a few other characters.
Governors Mansion was the biggest and best by FAR. We'll have to plan on that again next year. If there is a next year here, we just don't know where we could be.
Wyatt loved finding the eggs. It was so intense! They were giving out huge Russell Stover chocolate eggs filled with different creams. Ooh my, were they good! I can't believe how expensive that must have been.

Easter Sunday
Looks like the Easter Bunny stopped by!
After church we decorated eggs. Wyatt loved it!
(The Easter Bunny had to hide the plastic ones this year.)
My mom got Wyatt this bunny chair cover. Pretty festive!
For the big Easter dinner we got invited over to some investigators house, Ruth and Carl. Zach had gone on splits with the missionaries to this couples house quite a few times. They are so nice! We felt privileged to get invited to their huge family get together. It was really a huge celebration!
They cooked this turkey with oranges inside. Boy was it good!
It looked so fancy we had to get a picture!
The weather was perfect!
They have this sweet John Deere lawn mower.
Carl told us we could take it out. So Zach let Wyatt drive it and he did a really good job at it!
Wyatt didn't want to get off, he loved it!
Maybe someday we'll get one of these for you to ride on and mow our lawn with Wyatt :)
Elder Stagg, us, and Elder Jensen.
Carl and Ruth (they are the nicest couple!), us, and the missionaries.
They made these cute cake pops decorated like bunnies. So cute!
We watched a funny video of all their families memories of Easter.
Wyatt loves to bug Elder Stagg! They bug each other actually :)
Elder Jensen getting in on the fun.
We sure had a great evening and a great end to a happy Easter!
