Elf on a Shelf 2014

December 2014
Here are a few highlights from our elf Pow.

He toilet papered our tree!  (Well, Grandma and Grandpa's tree, yep, we're still living with them).
 A car sleigh ride?

The army men trapped him in the almond jar!
Poor Pow!
 Ha  Ha!
Colter was so sad that Pow was in his high chair, using his spoon. How dare he! He went over and pouted with his lip out on a chair.  But then he came back wagging his finger saying "don't touch it".
 "Ok Wyatt? Don't touch it."

Good old Cornflakes!

Wyatt said "I just want to hold him, he looks so cute!"
I just thought this was so cute.  Wyatt said he didn't want to eat this gingerbread man because it was "just too cute"  Then he decided to eat his feet so he didn't run away.  Then we had to run out the door and Wyatt was worried he'd get away.  I said don't worry he doesn't have legs, he'll stay right there.  So cute!
Pow brought letters from Santa!  (From the mailbox at Thanksgiving Point where they sent them.)

So excited!
It was a sweet letter.  They were so happy! (Wyatt's about to eat the last bit of his gingerbread man.)

Then Pow showed up with a note for the boys that tells them how to grow a candy cane!

Put your peppermint in the sugar, bury it.

Don't lick the sugar!!!  That'll kill it!
 But I just can't resist!!!
Next pour in the magic sprinkle fertilizer.
And wait for it to grow!
Next day: It sprouted!

Then sprinkle the magic sprinkles on the next day.

 Do you spy Pow?
There he is!  Inside a clear package!
 WOW!  It's growing!!!
It's Pow's last day!  They get to hug him goodbye!  And his magic wont go away!

Mr. Don't Touch It, was all about giving Pow hugs.
 So sweet!

We all had to give him hugs, according to Colter.
 Grandma giving him hugs.

 Bye Pow!  We'll miss you!
 Whoa!  Look it grew!
Pure happiness for Wyatt and Colt's...not so sure.
This is a tradition we will have to keep!  They loved it!
Later that night when we headed to my parents to sleep over for Christmas Eve the boys had to say goodbye one more time.  They also were telling him where to go so Santa would know where to bring the presents.

Goodbye Pow!  We'll see you next year!  We sure love you!
