Swimming lessons with Pam and Wyatt's first bee sting

October 15, 2014
I put Wyatt in swimming lessons with Pam Young.  She teaches in my sister-in-laws sisters house's pool, Rebecca Ashton.  It's so nice.  It's indoor with windows and doors all around so you can open it up in the summer time.  Wyatt did the full 3 week session in the summer, but he needs to keep up his skills so he's doing lessons just 1 day a week.  Each lesson is only 10 minutes.  It's part of their method.  He's doing great!  He's floating on his back, he's swimming with a little assistance, jumping off the side and the diving board, reaching for the rings.  He's come such a long way.  He cried when we went to lessons, then after about a week he loved it and was so excited to go each week. He used to shake and quiver when he'd lay his head back in the water.  He has tubes in so it felt weird. Even bath time is better.  He doesn't freak out when he gets water in his ears or face.  So it's been really good.  Pam is great.  I highly recommend her!
Here he is floating on his back.  She's not helping here.
She'll drag him around then tell him to stop, look at the ground, then grab the side of the pool.
Later...
 Just smelling the pretty flowers.
This wasn't posed, they were totally doing this!  So cute!
But then...
Wyatt screamed like he was getting electrocuted!
 It was a bee sting!
He was crawling around on the sidewalk and a bee was there.  He put his hand right on it.  Such a bummer!  Dang!  I used my baking soda and water paste trick to help it feel a little better.
He thought he was going to die!  They do hurt I will admit!
